Subject	Almost $20 for 3 rubber o-rings?

Message	I'm in the process of doing the 120k maintenance and ill tell you.... The snow effect is REAL and I can see it emptying my pocket quickly. I'm staying away from autozone water pumps, thermostats, tensioner, belts and so on. But things like balance tube o-rings for almost $20 just doesn't compute if you know what I'm saying. This o-rings don't seem to be special... They aren't exposed to oil, fuel, or extreme temps. Same thing goes for the egr delete kit....$45 dollars for two blocking plates ? Alternatives anybody? What have you guys done??? Got o-rings at ace hardware? Welded egr holes shut? Use small freeze style plugs?
